"When shooting travel, you can’t go back to the scene and expect it to be the same. Things will change, the light or whatever. So seize the moment, stop and make the effort to get the shot. In other words, don’t procrastinate!" - Eric Meola

camera batteries
most digital cameras come with a rechargeable battery and charger. always order at least one extra battery. you need to spare since rechargeable batteries tend to work fine to quite awhile and then suddenly fail with little warning. if you go on any expensive or time consuming photo trip, take three or four spare batteries with you. how many shots can be taken with the single battery depends on many variables. using autofocus, image stabilization and viewing lcd monitor all consume battery power. if you getting short on battery power, turning off some of these will make the battery last longer.
